Unique themed Splashpad spotlights town’s history.

The Town of Oologah opened up their first Splashpad in the summer of 2016. Starting their first revitalization project in 30 years, the town made a number of changes and upgrades to enhance their community. The Splashpad was added to give kids and families a beautiful new park to enjoy.

The 2,400 ft2 Old Town / Western themed Splashpad features integral color concrete etched with railroad tracks. Water features include 13 ground sprays and 10 above ground features in which five are action reaction and two interactive water cannons. The Splashpad, as with all of our designs, contains three bays: Action, Family and Toddler.  The bays with age based water features that are age appropriate for all to enjoy.

The design for the Splashpad has an Old Town / Western theme perfectly suited to  the Town’s history. Embracing the theme, a number of custom water features were incorporated such as the eye catching 11 foot Horse and covered Wagon. Other custom features included the Teepee, “Mine Town” Bucket Trio, and Water Tower with “Town of Oologah” sign. A Splashpad would not be complete without two Tube water cannons and a Crossing Gate Activator starting all the fun. This Splashpad is really unique giving the town a custom themed design both pleasing to the eye and fun for families.
