City of Claremore Opens Second Splashpad at Claremore Lake

The City of Claremore added their second Vortex Splashpad at Claremore Lake in the summer of 2016.  The Splashpad, designed by LandPlan Consultants, Inc. (Tulsa, OK) went with a Nature Theme and also included several different areas of integral colored concrete for a unique look. The design also has a combination of polished stainless steel and power coated stainless steel features. Water features included several Flowers with different water effects, Leaves, Seaweed, a Turtle and lots of ground sprays.  One unique part of the design is the three Fish located together.  Kids love to use the fish to spray each other similar to the way they use water cannons.  The Splashpad area features several areas with benches, shade structures and picnic tables for families to enjoy!
