City of Lawton Opens New Splashpad

The City of Lawton opened up a new Splashpad in the summer of 2017 at Elmer Thomas Park. The Splashpad held a grand opening that included remarks from community leaders, a dedication, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony. This colorful Splashpad includes more than 25 different water features including the popular Bucket Trio, Aqua Dome, and Sunspray.  Kids love running through the misting Rainbow and standing under the Bamboo Flower for a splash of water. Play areas are tailored for toddlers to teens with six shaded seating areas for families to enjoy!
